The MUST EAT foods in Medellin are; Bandeja Paisa, Arepa con chocolo or arepa con queso, mondongo, ajiaco, buñelos and of course empanadas!

DANCE! - Colombians love to dance and so should you! Good way to burn off some of those calories you just ate from that heavy Colombian food. No one cares if you can actually do these dances or not, but Colombians will respect you for just being there! Some typical dancing styles are Bachata, Salsa, Merengue and Vallenato. If you want to dance to the hip music then head to a bar that plays Regeeatoon.

Get Out of the City - There are very affordable rental car places around the city and it would benefit you to get one and get out of the city. Medellin city is beautiful, but getting out of the city and into the mountains will make you really want to call Medellin your forever home. Stunning back roads that take you to towns you never thought you would come across. Some notable towns to visit outside of Medellin are; Santa Elena, Las Palmas, Rionegro, Sabaneta(taxi), Envigado(taxi), Itagui, San Cristobal, Guatape and Jardin. There are so many to see but these are a good start. All of these are close to Medellin very attainable for a day trip!
